We believe all people have the innate ability to heal and achieve therapeutic goals. A Grounded Nature supports you to lead an authentic life and have healthy connections with other people. We process trauma using Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) and break cycles of intergenerational pain and trauma.

When you make positive changes, it can have a positive ripple effect around you. You can shift the past traumatic memories and experiences that keep you stuck in patterns of behaviour that no longer work for you.

Our brains can heal and we can continually learn and grow- it’s the beauty of being human.

Panel 2

For Organisations

Are you a first responder? Or, do you work closely with children, young people and families who have experienced trauma?

Danielle has worked extensively in the out-of-home care sector in NSW and with people who are first responders.  Sometimes in these roles you can experience confronting scenarios and critical events. After work, events may play on your mind and you find yourself trying to unpack what you experienced. You may try to distract yourself, or soother yourself in ways that do not help you. EMDR therapy is an effective therapy to support you through these events.

Panel 3

Danielle is an accredited EMDRAA practitioner. Danielle uses EMDR and other evidence-based models.

As a trained Wilderness Lead Guide, Danielle combines her therapeutic work with the outdoors, developing and facilitating bush adventure therapy programs.

Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) is an evidenced-based psychotherapy that encompasses principles, procedures, and protocols. EMDR works with the memories of a distressing life event, the beliefs, affect, emotions, and associated stress symptoms that are linked with the memory by using bilateral eye movements. EMDR addresses past experiences, current triggers, and future potential challenges. EMDR is a time efficient therapy with specific phases that guides the processing of the distressing life events.
